ARE YOU A HOME HEALTH AGENCY?

We are not a home health agency or staffing agency. We provide a full range of non-medical senior services including companionship, errands, and other "concierge services". It's like having your own personal assistant.

WHAT TYPE OF SERVICES DO YOU PROVIDE?

We provide non-medical errands. Our services differ and are personalized to meet the needs of our clients. While we are proud of the support for our clients and their loved ones, personal care for seniors, live-in and medically assisted needs are not part of the Above & Beyond suite of services.

DO YOU PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION SERVICE?

We are not a transportation service, but a lot of our routine concierge visits often involved accompanying clients to where they need to go through LYFT, UBER, TAXI, and/or City Bus. We can assist with this!

DO YOU PROVIDE LIVE-IN HELP SERVICES?

Not at the moment, however we are hoping to expand and this service maybe a possibility in the near future. However, we are more than happy to assist with referrals.

IS ABOVE & BEYOND SENIOR CONCIERGE FULLY INSURED?

Yes we are. We carry General Liability Insurance.

HOW DO YOU CHARGE FOR YOUR SERVICES?

We are not a Medicare/Medicaid agency nor affiliated. Our services are covered by private payment. Please see "Forms of payment" section.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AMOUNT OF HOURS OF SERVICE PER DAY?

A minimum of 1 (one) hour with up to 5 hours per day.

HOW DOES BILLING WORK?

We can discuss complete billing details during our initial conversation. Charges for ala-carte services as well as monthly packages are billed in advance, while out-of-pocket (OOP) expenses are billed upon project completion.

HOW QUICKLY CAN SERVICES BEGIN?

Right away. A free consultation, either over the phone or in-person, will take place in order to tailor a program to meet the needs of the client.

WHAT FORM OF PAYMENT DO YOU TAKE?


For your convenience, we do accept payment by Credit Card thru Square, cash and bank draft checks.

HOW DO YOU WORK WITH FAMILY MEMBERS OF CLIENTS?

We strive to become a part of your Ohana. We will provide detailed reports after each visit, and are often in constant contact with family member not just to address issues as they arise, but to keep them informed off all the exciting happenings as well. We take care of everything so that the time you do spend with your loved one is just about enjoying their company.

IS IT OK IF MY MOM AND DAD LIVES IN A SENIOR FACILITY?

Absolutely! We service in the Honolulu and surrounding areas.

HOW DO I KNOW IF THIS SERVICES WILL BENEFIT ME?

For our first-time clients, we recommend starting off by using our services on an as-needed basis. As we build a relationship, we can create a specialized monthly package for regular assistance.
